They had a bone today and spent hours and hours out side chewing them. There is hardly anything left! By the evening, Ruby was so exhausted she just collapsed to sleep. Of course - on her back!

Took the girls down to Brighton today for a walk in the summer sun! They had a great time, walked very well (even Ruby)! 

We also put the christmas tree up. Ava was allowed to 'help' but Ruby was out int he hall way. At first she wasn't sure what it was and kept her distance and just peered around the corner. When she finally did come in she was like a little bull in a china shop. The room where the tree is is fenced off. If i allow her to go in there i know i will find that tree fallen over on to the ground and destroyed baubles!

Some one is in trouble. BIG TROUBLE. 

I walk into the family room after getting ready to go out. Ava sitting pretty near the gate. Ruby is on the rug, chewing something. I get to it and then i realise what it was. My WALLET! 

Bank cards, health cards, car cards all chewed! And wallet destroyed (half of it missing which she later vomited up!) 

She was in big trouble. She spent the next hour in the laundry and she didn't make a peep. For the rest of the day she kept rather close to me but very very quiet. 

Its hard to stay mad at her but she knew she did wrong!

Poor avey. There is a thunderstorm coming and lots of rumbles. She is all worked up, aimlessly wondering around and whimpering. Ruby on the other hand, hasnt even seemed to notice it and is her usual quirky self. Oh and still pulling on avas ear as she walks by! Ava is sitting next to me, looking at me every few seconds for an "its ok ave" while her ears are all chewed wet!

Ruby is amazing when she goes to bed now! We go out side so she can go to the toilet ( all i have to say is "wee-wee" and she is at the door). After i get a scooby snack from the kitchen and before ive even stepped out of the kitchen she is racing to her bed in the laundry. When i get there she is sitting on her bed!! So good!!

Ava and ruby both like coco pops.

Ruby also discovered her love for ice cubes!

Dad took both of them down to the beach again which both were so excited!

Ruby is off to the vets tomorrow night. I noticed a very large cyst or something on her right leg near the "arm pit". It is about 1cm wide by 1cm high so quite big. She doesnt seem bothered by it but it seems to have just appeared recently so maybe she was bitten. Best to get it checked.

Ruby still goea crazy for her bubbles - doing zoomies everywhere. Even ava has been gettig back into them!

I gave ruby a cuddle just before bed amd ava decides to get a toy and play with it. Ruby noticed soon after and went to her and laid along side her watching ava play with it slowly and gently trying to take it!

At bed time, ava picked up a tennis ball in the bedroom, went out in the hallway and laid down, dropped the ball and watched it roll away and then plonked her head on the ground and wrnt to sleep!

Ruby has a very good sleep! 8.45 to 7.30am!

I stepped out of the kitchen for a second and ruby managed to get the brand new butter container from the counter and was licking it all!! Brand new - i just took of the wrapper!

When i got to dads he was ready to take ava to the beach and could see how excited ruby was so decided to take ruby too!!! Oh boy she could not believe her luck! He tied the leads tofether and they looked so cute walkig down the road! Tey were both well behaved and had a good time. On the way back home dad stopped off at a neighbours across the rpad and ruby couldnt hack it and juat flaked out on tje lawn! Theyve been asleep all evening!

When we got home ruby clearly had enough sleep and very hyper until about 8.30!

I left work early and took both girls down to the beach! I wondered if i would be able to cope with both alone but they were very well behaved!

I tied their leads together so i didnt having them pullibg me different ways. Neither of them pulled at all - such a nice walk down to the beach. The tide was out and hardly anyone down there. We stayed out on the reef mainly and ruby never went too far from ave.

They found a large shell that kept them entertained for ages. Ava had it then ruby wanted it. Ruby got it and ava chase her. Ava had it back and ruby wanted it but ava was not letting her get it and kept barking and growling! I was in shock at how much she was protecting it! She never does that at home- she puta up with rubes biting her all the time!

Ever since we got back thwy both have been asleep! Just woke up to eat dinner.

After a very warm day yesterday (36) and thunderstorms at night it continued in to today. It start again at around 4pm and the thunder has not stopped ( and still going at 9pm). Poor ava is besides herself! When i got to mums she was all playful then i realised why - thunder! Ruby didnt care too much and dug up another bone outside. When we got home the thunder increased in loudness and quantity. Ava has followed me everywhere! For a little while ruby was a little freaked but didnt last too long and she just started to play with ava! I took ruby outside while it seemed to have stopped ( ava stayed inside crying) and she ran around, picked up a rock and laid on the grass all while there is lightning and thunder and rain going on! Decided to have an early night so ruby is in bed and havent heard a peep from her despite there being some spine chilling thunder bangs and lightning cracks not a peep! Where as ava has finally stopped panting as fast and is laying on her bed. Poor thing wS shakinf before!

Poor dears!

The little one was very naughty - destroyed one of my good pairs of shoes!!! She waa in the bad books for a while and she knew it too!

I hope ruby doesnt loose her squeak. Every time she yawns she makes a little squeaking sound. It is so adorable. She has done it since that very first day we picked her up from the airport!
